Starkey and Co

Hi, I’m Valerie Starkey, the owner of Starkey & Co.! (Well, mostly sole owner—I definitely couldn’t do all of this without the constant support and extra set of hands from my husband, Jason.)

We have two incredible, high-energy boys: Hank (13) and Hunter (10). Like typical boys, they spend their days climbing trees, getting dirty, and doing way too much running in the house. After having our first son, we realized just how fast life moves and how valuable our time together truly is.

I spent over 20 years in the floral industry and loved every single minute of it. However, the demanding hours and working every major holiday just didn't align with my vision for our family. I knew I needed to step out of the 9-to-5 grind and find a way to merge my passion with my everyday life.

From that leap of faith, Starkey & Co. was born—allowing me to keep doing what I love while being right where I need to be for my family.
